Mr. Jasper is the President of Two-Eleven Associates, a management consulting company that focuses on improving the value and sustainability of manufacturing based businesses, including in the textile industry.  He was previously the Chairman and CEO of Unifi Inc. (UFI:NYSE),  headquartered in Greensboro, NC, a multi-national textile company and the makers of Repreve® recycled polyester yarns.  In that capacity, Mr. Jasper was responsible for revenues of approximately $650 million, and oversaw about 2500 employees. He also oversaw the company’s 3 manufacturing sites in North Carolina, as well as manufacturing sites in El Salvador, Columbia, and Brazil.  In addition, Unifi’s sales office and several contract manufacturers in China and joint venture operations in Virginia and Israel, all reported to Mr. Jasper.  

Mr. Jasper led the turnaround of Unifi from many years of losses to consistently growing profits, built around the development of Repreve®, a globally recognized recycled product and improved manufacturing discipline and effectiveness.  Unifi stock outperformed the S&P 500 by over 160% during Mr. Jasper’s tenure as CEO.  Before his 2007 appointment to CEO, Mr. Jasper was Vice President of Global Sales for Unifi.

Before joining Unifi in 2004, Mr. Jasper was the Director of Invista’s Dacron® polyester business, having global profit and loss responsibility for that business. Prior to that he held several manufacturing and marketing management positions within a variety of textile, polymer, and consumer businesses at DuPont since 1980.  

Mr. Jasper has extensive government and trade relations experience, having served 2 years as chairman of the American Fiber Manufacturers Association and an unprecedented 3 year term as Chairman of the National Council of Textile Organizations, the US textile industry’s primary DC based industry association. 

Mr. Jasper holds BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Rhode Island.  He serves on the University of Rhode Island Engineering Advisory Board, the Academic Board of Directors of Jefferson University and the Board of Directors of the Danbury Animal Welfare Society.  Mr. Jasper lives in Washington DC and Kiawah Island SC.
